How to read this chart
The first column is the diameter as printed on a spool or in a manual. The second column converts it, so a manual that gives inches can be compared with a package in millimetres. The last column says where that diameter is usually met; it is a pointer, not an approval for your tool.
Diameter and shape are separate choices
Round, twisted, square and multi-sided line of the same diameter cut and feed differently, and some heads accept only some shapes. This chart converts diameters only; the guide on line shape and diameter explains the difference.
